Sirena Lamp

Oggetti Inquieti - Cartasia 2021

During my residency in Lucca I reused more than 20kg of wasting paper.
All this object are realised in paper pulps’s waste, Art is for give message and make people reflect on future possibility. Here we see the power of the paper and how can be applied and reused in our future.

Blue has always been colour for me, halfway between fear and desire, a nightmare within a dream, a perception of something radically far from us or too close.
As the artist, Yves Klein quoted
“What is blue”? “Blue is the invisible becoming visible. Blue has no dimensions, it is beyond the dimensions of which other colours partake”

Sirena is a lamp that comes from a dream.
the pearls that shine in the abyss are contained by an envelope that gives them support and makes them emerge from that deep blue where the light does not reach

140 cm high lamp with three light sources, one on the front, one on the side and one on the back
entirely built with waste paper recovered from the streets.

Paper is what represents me, it is part of my origins and it is what constantly shapes my ideas.
